It is best if a professional realtor works with a buyer to get them pre-qualified or pre-approved for a loan.


The documentation involved in FSBO has just become way too difficult to handle for someone who is not trained in the real estate industry. As more and more mandatory rules and regulations are made to ensure transparency, agents are becoming more and more relevant and important.

It has been noticed that over the last couple of decades or more, the FSBO method has seen a drop from 19 percent to 8 percent. FSBO are realizing that hiring a real estate professional will not only save them money, but their time.


FSB More than half of people who are attempting to sell their home as a FSBO believe that they will save money on commission by not hiring a real estate professional. They forget that the main reason why buyers are looking at FSBOs is that they also want to keep the commission.


The difference between FSBOs and real estate agent prices is about 6%, on average. More than half of people who are new in the FSBO business think if they start selling properties on their own they will be able to save money on real estate agent commissions.
